Bob, grandson and son of watchmakers, started goldsmithing in 1977 at the famed Zell Brothers in Portland, OR. He came to work for Toby Pomeroy at Talisman Jewelers in Corvallis in 1986 and he purchased the store from Toby in 1993. He was the lead goldsmith at Talisman Jewelers until he joined the Olufson Designs team in 2012.
Bob’s specialty is custom manufacturing and the rare art of fabrication. He has a sharp eye for detail and is an invaluable addition to our staff. With Bob came all of the beloved Talisman Jewelers designs and models, including the recognizable landscape pendants of Marys Peak, Mt. Hood and Three Sisters.
